Vietnam Mobile Wall

Description

The cities of Roanoke and Salem, the town of Vinton and the county of Roanoke with the Stonewall Jackson Chapter of the Association of the United States Army are organizing a visit of the Vietnam Mobile Wall.  The purpose is to thank and honor the Vietnam-era veterans and their families.  The Wall will be open to the public on the front campus of the Salem VA Medical Center following the opening ceremony at 6:30 pm Wednesday, 16 September until the closing ceremony 6pm Sunday, 20 September.  Sponsors of this commemoration of the Vietnam 50th anniversary are Salem VA Credit Union (Platinum); Carilion Clinic and DAV (Gold), Blue Ridge Veterans Celebration, Vietnam Veterans of America Roanoke Chapter 81, Source4 and W.S.
