Women of the Chamber Luncheon Series: Growing Into Business Leaders

The wait is almost over! Our 2022 Women of the Chamber Luncheon Series, presented by ValleyStar Credit Union, returns on August 30.

We're excited to welcome Regina Cook, Administrative Officer for Training Solutions at Virginia Western Community College.

Regina will be discussing how women can grow into business leaders by embracing change, taking risks, and showing strength during times of adversity. As you might have guessed, these traits have been essential in her own career journey. She will also share case studies of prominent women in business who found success with a similar mindset.

Meet Regina Cook

For more than 25 years, Regina Cook has resurrected, enhanced, and propelled de novo institutions, entrepreneurial ventures, and micro-businesses and is seasoned to deliver results for the special functionality of emergent organizations, enhancing the performance and operations of established companies and organizations of all sizes. Through her thoughtful approach, grounded in a blend of charismatic and servant leadership, and backed by decades of unparalleled, successful milestones, she develops unique strategies designed to dynamically fulfill the unique goals of each entity. 

Regina is also an experienced corporate trainer, instructional designer, and content developer with a robust, demonstrated history, an awarded Adult Learning Training Specialist, former Executive Director of the Louisa County Chamber of Commerce, former Instructor and Contract Trainer at Blue Ridge Community College, former Program Manager and Instructor at Piedmont Virginia Community College, and Invited Program Developer, Facilitator, and Grant Reviewer of the Tibetan Entrepreneur Exchange Program through the University of Virginia, with apportioned funding by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Economic & Cultural Affairs, and has served toward the success of the City of Charlottesville Minority Business Programming. 

She is presently evoking excellence and innovatively upskilling personnel while enhancing the strategic objectives and core missions of entities in the Roanoke Valley region as the Administrative Officer for Training Solutions at Virginia Western Community College. Regina holds her BS in Occupational & Technical Studies-Adult Training Specialist from Old Dominion University and completed her graduate studies in Educational Technology through Louisiana State University.
