Seniors Staying Safe With: AVOID
Deputy Scott Young of the Roanoke County Sheriff’s Office will be presenting the AVOID program (Awareness, Verbalize, Overcome, Identify and Distance) on Thursday, July 27 at 7:00 p.m. at The Feinour Center - Adult Medical Day Care, located at 324 Hershberger Road in Roanoke. The program is free to attend and open to the public.
Deputy Young will identify steps that seniors can take to avoid being attacked, what to do if they are attacked, and learn how to avoid dangerous situations in the first place.
Light refreshments will be served.
Space is limited to 50 people.
