Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a treatment modality used in treatment of lymphodema, edema/inflammation secondary to surgery/trauma/venous stasis. It helps activate fluid circulation, promote tissue regeneration, stimulate the immune system to help with bronchitis, sinusitis, tonsillitis, acne, eczema, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, auto-immune disease, and to aid in stimulation of the parasympathetic to help the body reduce stress, depression, insomnia, pain reduction, muscle spasm reduction, headaches, tinnitus, vertigo. It is also is an excellent therapy to aid the body in preparation and cleansing PRE-surgically, and in the reduction of inflammation and aid in acceleration of healing POST-surgery.
