Olswanger is the founder of Olswanger Literary in New York. She has been a literary agent since 2005 when she joined Liza Dawson Associates. In 2014 she founded Olswanger Literary, where she represents picture books (author-illustrators only), middle grade fiction, and adult nonfiction. She is the author of Shlemiel Crooks, a Sydney Taylor Honor Book, Koret International Jewish Book Award Finalist, and PJ Library Book, and the just-published Greenhorn. Olswanger is also the coauthor of My Shoshana. Sponsored by the graduate program in children's literature and children's book illustration.
