Enhancing Workplace Safety: A Prevention and Response Plan to Targeted Violence

Over the past several decades, horrific mass shooting incidents have been thrust into public consciousness and have occurred with increasing frequency.  Although the public expects a quick and effective law enforcement response to targeted violence, many of these attacks are over before police arrive on scene.  This course will provide the student with strategies on how to identify, assess and mitigate threats in the workplace and assist in developing a comprehensive, pre-planned and effective response to an active shooter.  Tabletop and scenario-based exercises are included in this training to enhance learning course objectives.
