Author of "Ayiti," "An Untamed State," and "Bad Feminist," Roxane Gay

Gay has published three books: Ayiti, An Untamed State, and Bad Feminist. Hunger is forthcoming. Her writing has appeared inMcSweeney’s, The New York Times, Time, Virginia Quarterly Review, The Los Angeles Times, The Nation, The Rumpus, Bookforum,Slate, Salon, Best American Short Stories 2012, and Best American Mystery Stories 2014. She is the co-editor of PANK. Gay joined Purdue University as an associate professor of English in 2014 after spending the previous four years as an assistant professor of English at Eastern Illinois University.
