Art Exhibition: Re-Righting History-Contemporary Artists Look at Race and Ethnic Identity
Thursday, November 3, 12 pm
Eleanor D. Wilson Museum

The exhibit consists of prints, drawings, and photographs created by contemporary artists of color who use their work to re-examine difficult events in the history of the Americas. Artists represented include Carrie Mae Weems, Willie Cole, Kara Walker, Deborah Muirhead-Dancy, Enrique Chagoya, Roger Shimomura, and Jaune Quick-to-See Smith. Works are loaned from private and public collections, including the permanent collection of the Eleanor D. Wilson Museum. Through December 18. Opening reception: Sunday, November 13, 3 pm.

Hours are Tuesday through Sunday from Noon-5 pm, with extended evening hours on Thursday until 8 pm.
